alt.formula は、素材に潜む記憶や痕跡、そして現代社会に作用する生態的・歴史的・社会的な力についてのリサーチを根幹においたデザインスタジオです。
2024年に設立されたスタジオは、アート、マテリアル、クラフト、空間を横断し、素材と構造、身体と空間、社会と記憶の関係性を再構築することを目的としています。
私たちは「form（かたち）」を成果物ではなく、時間、制度、労働、流通といった見えない力が交錯する仕組み（formula）として捉えます。
素材に刻まれた痕跡や呼吸する構造を観察・再構成し、人のふるまいや感覚を引き出す“場”や“構造体”を立ち上げることで、デザインを詩的かつ批評的な媒介として提案しています。
alt.formula is a design studio grounded in research on the memories and traces embedded in materials, as well as the ecological, historical, and social forces that shape contemporary life.
Founded in 2024, the studio works across art, materials, craft, and space, aiming to reconfigure the relationships between matter and structure, body and space, society and memory.
We understand “form” not as a static outcome but as a formula — an intersection of invisible forces such as time, institutions, labor, and distribution.
By observing and reassembling the traces and breathing structures inscribed in materials, we create environments and frameworks that elicit human behavior and perception, proposing design as a poetic and critical medium.

略歴
多摩美術大学テキスタイルデザイン専攻卒業、在学中にウィーン応用美術大学に交換留学。
現代アートスタジオにてインスタレーション制作やCMF（カラー・マテリアル・フィニッシュ）を担当し、海外美術館プロジェクトなどに携わる。
自身のスタジオ alt.formula を立ち上げ、素材の持つ痕跡や記憶を手がかりに、アート・空間デザイン・テキスタイルを横断する実験的な作品を制作している。
