略歴
am a recent post-graduate from the College of Art, New Delhi, India, and returned from New York after learning Mezzotint (Printmaking) technique during my 4-month scholarship at Manhattan Graphics Center, NY. I have been participating in art competitions around the globe and recently was awarded 1st prize in the 4th Jogja International Miniprint Biennale, INDONESIA. My art practice is fluid and I love experimenting in various mediums, right now working on paper-less printmaking and non-toxic printmaking techniques which I started in the later phase of my Lalit Kala Scholarship that I resumed in August 2020 and completed in November 2020. I have also started taking workshops online/offline to teach printmaking courses to anyone in the world who wants to learn and create something together and I am always in search of finding more sustainable ways of working with a medium that should complement my art practice and the recent workshop(paperless printmaking at home without an etching press and the use of toxic inks and solvents) that I took was with Edmonton, a Canada-based visual art organization named the Society of Northern Alberta Print-artists (SNAP). I was invited as one of the artists to participate in their virtual visiting artist series 2021 that took place in August 2021. My recent exhibition included a duo exhibition with Kaitlyn Jo Smith in January 2021 at the Roy G Biv Gallery based in Columbus, Ohio, and the second recent exhibition (group) at the Art Heritage Gallery, New Delhi in October 2020. I have recently become one of the Laureates to receive the prestigious Prince Claus Seed Fund Awards, Amsterdam, Netherlands 2021.
