Alice Sowa is a transdisciplinary and process driven designer, researcher, and maker from the San Francisco Bay Area currently based in Iceland. She holds a BFA in Industrial Design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design ('21) and a postgraduate certificate from Fabricademy Textile and Technology Academy ('23). Her diverse experience in product design and material research has equipped her with a unique skill set and a deep appreciation for the intersection of design, technology, and biology. She is an ambitious and curious creative who's drive is to further explore regenerative materials and processes for a sustainable future through design, textiles, education, and community empowerment.
