Akiyuki Ina was born in 1982 in Japan. He graduated in 2007 with a BFA from Tokyo University of the Arts. In 2008 he moved to New York City, where he currently lives and works. His artworks have been exhibited in various venues in both New York and Japan, including the solo exhibition "Doubt the Doubts", Front Gallery, ISE Cultural Foundation, SoHo, NY (2009), the group exhibition "Annual International Juried Competition", where he was awarded Second Prize, Viridian Artists Gallery, Chelsea, NY, (2009), "Small Works", 80 Washington Square East Galleries, Greenwich Village, NY (2009), "A.G.A.S.T. Brooklyn", Brooklyn, NY (2008), and "Sustainable Art Project", Environmental Process Art, Tokyo, Japan (2007).
