Aristotle said \"The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.\" My name is Andy Smith and I am a graphic design student at a small school in the United States whose goal is to create art in this fashion and to prove to the world that beauty is indeed everywhere. I am discovering every day that there is much more to art than I once believed and I am loving every moment of it! I have a large mix of influences ranging from Chuck Close and his photorealistic paintings, minimalism, as well as artists who use unique mediums to create their work. Im still learning and would say that I have a long way to go but as Emerson once said, \"Every artist was first an amateur.\" As I continue to grow as an artist I will add more here so I encourage you to please come back and see my work!
