Being deeply inspired by my Australian-born Japanese background, I honour the fact of being a part of two countries, which is a value and a perspective that strongly influences the thinking around the process of my design. All aspects of design fascinate me, although print design is my obsession. The tactile properties of paper and the smell of newly printed stock are just so charming. I believe and design by the phrase, “design is a journey”, and I consider every experience as being an important step. I endeavour to grow strong ideas and delicately design them with love and care, and sensitivity to detail.
