Elie was born and bred in Tokyo, Japan. She studied Visual Art in Australia and completed BA in Visual Communication at Tokyo Polytechnic University in 2011. After that she decided to come to London to pursue a career in art and illustration. She is currently studying MA Illustration at Camberwell College of Art.
Her skills include drawing and painting or combined digital work. Her works are often inspired by environmental issues and animal cruelty and surreal art. She also draws inspiration from gothic horror films, taxidermy and creepy things.
東京生まれ。物心つく頃からいつも絵を描いている。高校途中でオーストラリアへ渡ったことをきっかけに、独自の絵の世界観を広げていく。東京工芸大学在学中の２０１０年、交換留学生として５ヶ月間アメリカのカーネギーメロン大学にてファインアートを学ぶ。２０１１年東京工芸大学ビジュアルコミュニケーション学科を卒業。以後、ロンドンへと渡り、Camberwell College of Art で MA Illustration を専攻。環境問題や動物保護をテーマにした絵をメインに、ゴシック＆ダークファンタジーな世界観を描いている。
