細胞を模様として捉えて生命の内側を覗いてみると、そこには驚く程美しい装飾が潜んでいる。だからこそ人は装飾を見たときに、普段は皮膚に覆い隠されて見えない生命の内側を直感するのではないか。今や私たちの生活と切り離すことは出来ない人工物をモチーフとして私は現代の生命力を描き出したいと考えています。
Discovering the life which is hidden in each cell, there hides a beautiful decoration which surprises all of us. Maybe therefore us humans can feel a tingling sensation under our skin when looking at the decor. Portraying the motif of artifacts that cannot be separated from our life is the modern life force I wish to create.
