Yen-An Chen is an artist and product designer from Taiwan, he graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2017 and owns a master in social design.
His practice is inspired by anatomical studies and bionic designs. Brought up in Taiwan, he developed a strong interest for traditional craftsmanships and materials. He focuses on a production cycle balancing objects with harmony, and believes in a design delivering beneficent and positive ideas, perspectives and gestures constructively impacting consumers.
Alternatively product and graphic designer, photograph, video maker and curator, Yen-An Chen’s care for detail acuity and rational thinking makes his work both unique and rich in its diversity.
