このアイデアはコンテキスト固有ではなく、Forgotten UrbanSpaceのさまざまなシナリオに適応できます。
この提案は、パンデミック時の社会的、文化的、環境的レベルの問題に答えます。
誰のために作った？
パンデミックが発生する中、多くのレストランが閉店しています。 しかし、外で食べたい、あるいは食べざるを得ない人はたくさんいます。 人々は食事をするために漂っています。
この新しいニッチなシティダイナーは、常に都市空間のスポットを探して、ダイニングルーチン、つまり新しい屋外ダイニング現象に戻ります。 それは伝統的な規範とパンデミックの食事体験に挑戦します。 -

WHAT?
It is a temporary spatial design proposal inspired by the new contactless dining restriction.
WHY?
The idea is non-context specific and adaptable to different scenarios in the Forgotten Urban Space.
The proposal answers problems on social, cultural and environmental levels during the pandemic .
FOR WHOM?
Amid the rise of the pandemic, lots of restaurants are closed. However, there are lots of people who want or are forced to eat outside. People are drifting to dine.
This new niche of city diners constantly look for spots in the urban space to get back to their dining routine, a.k.a. the new alfresco dining phenomenon. It challenges the Traditional Norms & Pandemic dining experience. -
作品の素材・仕様
主要構造は、パッケージからリサイクルされたパレットで構築されています。 固定された透明なアクリルパネルは、新しい人間の相互作用のための独立したダイニングゾーンを作成します。 各ゾーンには、パレットで作られたテーブルが付属しています。 [解決策：無駄を減らし、アクセス可能]。
DIYマイクロファームプランターは垂直構造に固定されています。 [解決策：アイスランドのような遠隔地での食品サプライチェーンの混乱への影響を減らす]
長くて透明なスライド式仕切りが軌道に乗っているので、さまざまなパンデミックの制限に合わせて調整できます。 [解決策：ウイルスの拡散を防ぎ、構造を置き換えることなく適応可能]
パンデミックが終わったときにスライド式仕切りを持ち上げるためにヒンジが上部に取り付けられています…！ -
作品の素材・仕様（英語）
The primary structure are built of recycled pallet from package. Fixed transparent acrylic panels create separate dining zone for the NEW human interaction. Each zone comes with tables made of pallet. [solution: reduce waste, accessible].
DIY micro-farm planters are fixed on vertical structure. [solution: reduce impact on disrupting food supply chain in remote places like Iceland]
Long, transparent sliding divider is put on track, so it’s adjustable to suit different pandemic restrictions. [solution: prevent spread of virus, adaptable without replacing any structures]
Hinges are installed on top to lift up the sliding divider when pandemic is over…! -

This is sylva, a restaurant designer and food artist based in Reykjavik, Iceland. My focus in on challenging everyday dining experience and perception on food. During the pandemic, the way of how people dine have completed changed. This is the time to take back the control, and let the diners, a.k.a. You & Me, to decide how and where to enjoy our food (in a safe environment).
