Category of my paintings: Responding Batik to build a symbolic communication language in the midst of global contemporary art developments.
Concept:
The catastrophe of this pandemic is not the first time in world history, in fact this world continues to spin and run with a new discourse about the art world, accompanied by new media. My inspiration is now to first conquer anxiety and fear. Surely, we will find a way out with time travel. Forcing myself to generate profound visions that seem too far away for the art world seem to be unnecessary, for what is crucial right now is that to keep my health and productiveness at home in check. I believe that when we get through this crisis, new ideas will flow and it will give new discourse to the world of art. We will live with it long enough until one forgets it's there, and the next catastrophe happens. Actually, we have jumped over many things that were never imagined and done before and become like flowers who keep blooming to a beautiful & peaceful place....
