Please describe the concept of your artwork in 1000 words.
Under the circumstance of coronavirus, people are forced to go outside to do activities by the rule of social distancing. Original lecture rooms turned out to be useless or less used due to the special situation. Thus, the essence of the classroom needs to be defined again. Nowadays, the classroom is not only a space for giving lectures or gaining knowledge but also for students to interact with teachers in a closer way. Hence, we put focus on jumping out of tradition as a pointcut of this design project. From this point of view, use of space and human behavior will be changed in the near future. The most important thing is to launch a revolution of educational system by design!
Rethink the school in urban scale, we found some learning resources that can correspond with the needs of school lecture. For instance, students can enjoy their scientific exploration in museum or in neighboring park. As a result, we try to project the school space to urban space. The school in the future will no longer fix in a building for 6-8 hours. On the contrary, students will explore through the city that embody the concept:
School is the epitome of society. -

Work Specification
The classroom is transformed for the container which is the most efficient material resources. One unit size is 11.8m long, 2.13m wide and 2.72m high. The container is transported by the truck. Four containers combine together when the whole school students and teachers gather.
