The Snakeskin Tactile Interface offers a, Braille inspired, touch based language that provides information about the users surroundings through both Tactile Icons – symbols representing key nodes in the neighbouring environment, approaching intersections, stops, turns, stairs, etcetera, and Tactile Prompts - cues that provide a more nuanced and gradient suggestions for actions the user might wish to follow – such as speeding up, slowing down, or approaching exits.
