The BE O Bottle is a circular and reusable water bottle made from plant based plastic. This product is made from the residual flows that remain when sugarcane plants are grounded into sugar. Because a sugarcane plant absorbs more CO2 than the bottle emits during the whole production and transport process, the BE O Bottle is climate positive. Each bottle has a carbon footprint of -80g CO2. And on top of that we plant a tree for every bottle sold.
In addition, the BE O Bottle is 100% recyclable, made and assembled in the Netherlands.
The design is inspired by angled cut sugar cane and the carrying ring in the cap makes it easy to carry. Due to the lowered screw thread, the bottle is equipped with a comfortable drinking spout. The BE O Bottle is also modular. This makes it easy to clean, it is possible to make two cups from the bottle and it is collapsible, saving you 40% space. The BE O bottle was nominated for several innovation awards and won the Green Product Award.

The BE O Bottle is circular for six different reasons.
1. Material
The material of the bottle comes from a renewable source, namely the residual flows of sugar cane. The material of the bottle is easy to recycle because the bio-PE has the same properties as HDPE and TPE, plastics from petroleum. The material therefore does not pollute the waste stream.

2. Reusable
The bottle is reusable, you can use it as your drinking bottle for the rest of your life. As a result, single-use bottles are not used and there is less waste.

3. Design
The bottle is designed for the longest possible life.
No fusing or glued parts were used during the assembly of the bottle. This makes the bottle easy to repair with replacement parts. Moreover, this promotes the recycling process.

4. Climate positive production process
During the entire production and transport process, more CO2 is absorbed than emitted! This BE O Bottles carbon footprint is -80g CO2e.

5. Packaging
The packaging in which the bottle is sold is made of Paperwise cardboard. A recyclable mix of agricultural waste and FSC-certified paper.
The shipping boxes of the bottle are made of Cradle to Cradle certified cardboard.

6. We plant trees!
For every product we sell, we plant a tree in collaboration with Trees for the Future.
