Between two words

The work “Between Two Worlds” was created for the NEWVIEW AWARDS 2021 and reflects the idea of "Post-Reality is Not Normal". Core idea is two worlds reflecting post reality. The work depicts a portal leading to reflection, this is not a physical reflection, it carries thoughts and desires. This reflection symbolizes thoughts that existed in the distant past, and also that will exist in the distant future. Two faces are two worlds that exist in the same time with each other, one face like the sun with rays, symbolizes the present, the second face in blue hoarfrost symbolizing the past and the future at the same time. The concept implies the question of where is the reality we are talking about, perhaps it is us we are.
This work was created in virtual reality in Tilt Brush application for Oculus Quest , where I used special brushes created for the project.
