Brief concept description of the submitted project/idea
A Mat has been a part of the way of life for Thai people that still remains now. Although people have overlooked the property of mats and how it can be connected to a surrounding space and influence the atmosphere to make a home warm. If compared to Europeans the mat is like a tropical carpet which helps to protect and make homes look good
In past people has used mats made from natural materials known as krajood a grey sedge which had a limited lifespan and creates waste
The PDM mats are developed with a new color line using pp recycled plastic in line with weaving techniques to archive and give the result of a color pair closest to its natural material. Which creates a warm atmosphere representing nature.
The goal of this project, is to reduce the use of natural materials and add elements and features to make the products last long -

Detailed description of the submitted project/idea
PDM develops innovative products from recycled materials improving the quality of the plastic such as UV protection so that it can be used outdoors will full efficiency. And prolong the internal functions for a long time purpose.
Recycled plastic pellets that are enhanced will have gone through a process of being melted and enter the extruder to become a plastic line. Which is one of the main materials of weaving a PDM mat.
Having a 30% tighter weave than normal mats, having more strength and having a long product life cycle.
To be used for a long period of time being durable, easy and carefree making it user friendly for most consumers with better properties than regular mats. -
