Brief concept description of the submitted project/idea
The project aims to bring city people closer to nature. We started off as teaching people how to compost at home in a limited and possibly concrete surface in the city and develop tools that are suitable for it. The submitted item adds on planting features to the compost bin, allowing people to compost and grow food in one set of items. And they can be adjusted to the person's desires as each piece is detached from one another, they could have stacked more or less layers, it is semi-customizable. The item displays the food circular cycle, left over turns to compost and soil while food grows from nutrients received by the decomposed leftover.

Detailed description of the submitted project/idea
PakDone is the name of our organization. Our initial aim is to become self-sustainable, while in the attempts, we have the need for good soil. Our needs led us to bring food waste from the market to compost and used in our vegetable garden. We have the space to do open-area compost while majority of urban communities are not able to. But the problem of food waste and how we dispose them to faraway landfills will lead to issue of not just waste but food security in the future. We realized that it is not that urban communities do not care for the environment but they just do not know how and have the tools that are suitable for their setting. That is how we develop Punpuii, the compost bin that not only can compost effectively but also serve as a decorative ornament that invite people to compost. A lot of people are interested in the product and thousands of families are using it in Thailand. The submitted idea is the further development by adding features of growing plants around the compost bins as we realize that some household does not grow plants and once they compost they waste, they left with unused compost. The item is to encourage people to compost and grow food at the same time, closing the loop from waste to compost and compost to food and hopefully less waste to compost again.
