Kinship The Game is an exploratory narrative experience designed to pass down and evolve cultural understanding through the power of storytelling and community engagement. At its core, Kinship facilitates a journey through collective mindscapes—our shared yet diverse perceptions and interpretations of the world. The game serves as a cultural lexicon of symbols and signs, evolving from age-old myths to contemporary imaginaries, shaping and reshaping our understanding of existence.

This project is the first in a series that delves into the cognitive landscapes that define our reality. By confronting and expanding the blind spots in our collective consciousness, Kinship invites players to be present in the now while reimagining possible futures. It's a tool that not only reflects the world as it is but also as what it could be, sowing the seeds for narratives that champion an inclusive and sustainable worldview.

For People: Kinship is crafted as a reflective mirror and a window into diverse cultural paradigms, fostering empathy, understanding, and a shared sense of identity.

For Planet: The game's ethos is rooted in sustainable practices, from its materials to its message, prompting players to consider their environmental impact and champion circular economic principles.

Through the physical artifacts evolution, in 100 years the local community will have insight on the meaning making of our time, providing a lens on our collective consciousness in this moment. While the narratives and perspectievs found through play to artifacts of different mediums in their own right. Ultimately ensuring a trail that follows the question: What kind of ancestors have we been? and what kind of ancestors do we wish to be? An enduring question mo matter the time or community.

Kinship's narratives are intentionally woven to include ecological consciousness, encouraging players to envisage a world where humanity and biodiversity thrive in harmony.

Kinship embodies the essence of new partnership design, leveraging cross-industry collaboration and consumer co-creation to redefine roles within its supply chain and beyond.

The digital expansion of Kinship hopes to redefine what user generated content means and how value is exchanged amongst platforms and users. Sparking conversation and creation that is not limited to current standards of value exchange.

Additionally, the game is designed to be the seed for a larger trans-media incubator that focuses on introducing new and non -western imaginaries to our cultural narratives around the past present and future. Allowing for an abundance of opportunities for partnerships with artists, brands, thinkers, makers of all disciplines, with a focus on interconnection, sustainability and regeneration.
