Light Streaming Through Voice
This is a development of my "Voice" project.
The laser cut patterns was created by algorithm using voice of customer.
The aim of this project is to enhance relationship between object and emotion by using voice.
The voice like "I love you" will be recorded using computer, and then the unique pattern will be created using it in a moment.
Water ripples-like pattern will be changed using the voice, the message of each customer's important person.
Then, the pattern will be cut by laser cutter, and the cut acrylic board will be bended and assembled.
This time I choose laser cutter to create this in terms of speed and price matter.
I hope customer could be relaxed under the light streaming through voice ripple pattern.
The experience would be like relaxing in interior of the womb.
I think making one-off products using personal data should be one of the strongest ways to achieve it.
Combination of digital creation and emotion will be a new trend of future digital world!!
「Voice]プロジェクトの一つの発展系です。
レーザーカッターで開けられたパターンは音声を基に独自のアルゴリズムで作られたパターンです。
このプロジェクトは音声を使い、感情と物との関係をより深くすることを目的としています。
「愛してる」などのメッセージをパソコンで取り込み、その音声データにより水の波紋のような模様が変化し、お客様だけのパターンが瞬時に作り出されます。
そのパターンはレーザーカッターで切り出し、曲げ、組み立ての工程を経てオリジナルのライトが出来上がります。
今回のプロジェクトではスピードと価格の問題からレーザーカッターを使用しました。
大切な方の声が作り出したパターンによる木漏れ日を浴びながら、リラックスしていただけると思います。
その経験はまるで母の胎内でくつろぐような、スペシャルな体験になるに違いありません。
私はこの「お客様のパーソナルデータから一点もの商品を作りだす」というのはこれからの最も重要なアプローチの一つだと考えています。
未来のデジタルクリエイションのトレンドは感情ｘデジタルファブリケーションです！！
