[FIHSIHKAHLVRRCHUWAHL<>]
[FIHSIHKAHLVRRCHUWAHL<>] was an interactive sculpture that examined the possibility of interaction between actual bodies and digital information in public space. The prototype was produced as a part of the FORM Public Platform Urban Prototyping Competition and was sited within the town square of Claremont, Western Australia. The design expanded on previous projects by the authors that investigated the possibility of communicating contextual information through an architectural interface without the use of a screen. The system utilised computer vision and sound sensors to monitor people as they interacted with the object which was then able to respond through light and sound actuation - transforming invisible fields of social media and digital data into physical phenomena.
