This project is renovating a room of a housing complex.
Our team named this project as “Plug-in house.

We can’t live without electricity. And now, every arrangement of home devices and furniture shod obey positions of sockets on the wall. Our life itself are dominated by this rule, don’t you think?
But we, febbers have Breadboard!  With this trial device, febbers design electric circuit easily and fearlessly. Like the breadboard, life space can be arranged and expanded freely ―This is the design concept of “Plug-in house”.
In Plug-in house, wall sockets can be work as fixing tool of racks and clocks. Also you can easily rearrange them by four hundreds and twenty sockets on its wall and ceiling.
Our team have invented furniture-functional socket and its 3D date is open in our creative common license page. So residents can expand and repair their interior by outputting the parts with 3D printer.

電気なくしては生活が成り立たない今日、従来の住宅ではコンセントの位置により家電・家具の配置が決まってしまいます。
この不自由さにより私たちの暮らし方も決められていないでしょうか？

「ブレッドボード」という電子工作グッズがあります。板の表面に無数の穴が空いた器具で、穴同士が内部で接続されているため部品を挿し込んでいくだけで回路を組める試作器具です。配列を何度も組み替えて試行錯誤できるブレッドボードのように「生活空間を自由に組み替え、試作し、拡張できる。」それがコンセントハウスのデザインコンセプトです。

この部屋の中ではコンセントが給電だけでなく、棚や時計などインテリアの固定具にもなり、壁面と天井につけられた420個のコンセントで組み替えも簡単です。
私たちは家具的機能を持ったコンセントプラグをデザインし、3Dデータとして無償配布をしており、居住者は3Dプリンタでパーツを出力することで増殖させたり、修理することも可能です。
