Please describe the concept of your artwork in 1000 words.
In the Post-Covid Era, a deadly virus has become a part of our lives.
Consequently, we are all forced to monitor temperatures on numerous occasions.
In light of all the inconveniences we are facing right now, I came up with the invention of "The Thermohunter_V.T.S.HAOS”, which is devoted to public health by means of human enhancement.
It is more of a hunter, whose duty is to take down crises, than a piece of artwork.
How did Human Enhancement emerge as a means of protection for public health in the midst of the pandemic? “Thermohunter_V.T.S.HAOS” is a wearable AI system that translates the result of the object detection and body temperature of people around to Braille alphabets and delivers it to the back of the wearer. It helps wearers perceive the body temperatures of people around them within 7 meters.
When an abnormal body temperature is detected, the hunt is on!
Those who are sick could still walk through any temperature scanners without since they might be yet to present signs of fever, thus posing threats to others.
“Thermohunter” is based on cobras’ infrared-sensing ability and appearance with the “third eye”-the heat detector, perching between the eyes of the wearers and serves as the pit organ as if they are hunting like a cobra.
Instead of detecting temperatures from a monitor in a fixed and limited position, “Thermohunter” provides real-time body temperature monitoring from a mobile point of view as the wearing constantly walks around, allowing us to react instantaneously. -
