Please describe the concept of your artwork in 2000 words.
Out in Office is a comfortable workspace on a cargo bike, connecting people to the world they are part of and making them aware of motion and things that move them. It’s a desk that makes you work-out, surrounded by fresh air, daylight and nature; designed for a different perspective on things, to feel more creative and free, and to make a day at the office boundlessly more inspiring, joyful and involved.

Out in Office is a comfortable workspace on a cargo bike, connecting people to the world they are part of and making them aware of motion and things that move them. It’s a desk that makes you work-out, surrounded by fresh air, daylight and nature; designed for a different perspective on things, to feel more creative and free, and to make a day at the office boundlessly more inspiring, joyful and involved.

Work Specification
The office is made from sustainably sourced plywood, has a natural cork floor and 100% wool felt upholstery, giving the feeling of being encircled by trees and animals even when not pedaling into nature. The size is big enough to comfortably sit in multiple ways and the height of the desk and seat can be adjusted if necessary. The bike is designed to change positions easily to alternate between sitting, standing, walking and biking, creating different views and experiences.
The office is built on an existing lightweight aluminum bikeframe (from Cristiania bikes) which makes it possible to cycle without the need of electric support. Power supply for devices is available from a strong powerbank (made by Mobisun), that can charge your laptop and phone simultaneously while working. The powerbank can be equipped with solarpanels to charge it. -
