私のプロジェクトは、無駄を減らすだけでなく、個々の感情的な価値を生み出し、貴重な記憶を保つのを助けるために、古いオブジェクトを感情的に耐久性のあるテキスタイルデザインに変換することに焦点を当てています。エモーショナルマップは、友人のイチュアンの服を素材にした手作りの地図で、英国留学の日常をイメージし、テキスタイルの触感で感情を表現しています。地図は8つに分割でき、それぞれを電話ケースの裏側にすることができるため、Yichuanはそれらを実行し、ロンドンの貴重な思い出を覚えることができます。このプロジェクトを通じて、人々が古い物で記憶をよりよく保存し、古い物に対する人々の態度や扱いを変え、感情的なデザイン、行動の影響、環境への配慮によるクロスオーバー効果の革新につながるように努めています。

My project focus on transforming old objects into emotional durable textile design in order to not only reduce waste but also create individual emotional value and help keeping precious memory. Emotional Map is a hand-made map made from materials of the clothes of my friend Yichuan, visualizing her daily life of studying abroad in UK, making her emotional feelings tangible through the tactility of the textile. The map can be separated into 8 pieces and each can be the back of a phonecase, making it possible for Yichuan to carry them out and memorize the precious memory in London. Through this project, I try to help people better preserve their memory with old objects as well as change people's attitude and treatment towards old objects, which will lead to innovation of the crossover effect by emotional design, behaviour influence and environmental concern.

このプロジェクトの素材は主に古着で、糸と電話のケースが付いています。マップ全体のサイズは290mm * 580mmで、マップの各部分はiPhoneXの電話ケースのサイズです。

The materials of this project are mainly from used clothes, with thread and phone cases. The size of the whole map is 290mm*580mm, each part of the map is the size of phone case of iPhone X.

In this project, I'm trying to learn about people's behaviour and attitude of materials usage. Through emotional durable design of combining their memory of old items with the new form of the materials, I try to help people better preserve their memory with old objects as well as change people's attitude and treatment towards old objects, which will lead to innovation of the crossover effect by emotional design, behaviour influence and environmental concern. The object of study are individuals, but the behaviour of a generation is connected with historical and social context, and their treatment of old objects will affect environmental sustainability.
