Maddy Hopper, we are a Thai-born sustainable brand that wants to make better stuff for people and the planet. Our core values are planet friendly, functionality, and simple design that matches every style. Our mission is to make the best quality of products with sustainable materials, production and process.
Our sneakers, Polly, is everyday sneakers for the planet handmade from 100% recycled plastic bottle canvas (rPET) and recycled natural latex from bed production's waste. Polly is designed to fit every foot and for everyday wear for any occasion along with comfortable insoles and sustainable packaging.
Polly, stand for polyethylene as its upper body is made entirely from recycled plastic bottles as known as recycled polyethylene terephthalate. Polly’s insoles are made from recycled natural latex in the southern part of Thailand which give you super soft feeling anytime you wear. Another good thing about natural latex is preventing bacteria to grow inside and improving blood circulation while standing.
Our packaging helps reduce cardboard usage by more than half compared to normal shoe packaging by using bags instead of a box that has often been thrown away after customers have received the shoes. Saving tons of paper and water in the production process.
Our bag is made from a reusable Kraft paper bag that’s also waterproof. You can use it as your shopping bag, flower pot, or anything you want it to be. The most important thing is it’s plastic-free. Our delivery bag is made from corn and cassava and can be decomposed in 180 days.
Each pair of our sneakers used around two 1.5 litres plastic bottles. We have sold over 2,000 sneakers which help reduce around 4,000 plastic bottles that will end up in landfill and turn into something that can be used to last. -
