At this moment we have gathered the interest of many factories that are interested to work with our company to produce products by utilizing their waste & off cuts, we are keen to expand this idea beyond wood but across all forms of materials, to the extend of utilizing our daily waste we produce at home for end users to explore & to participate. This will be an exciting journey to transform the way we think about obtaining materials in our daily life, rethink, reuse, redesign & recycle.

Special Prize Question 1: How does your project or idea make use of local resources, such as materials and knowledge, to tackle its challenge?

We work with local factories across Malaysia, to evaluate their waste, provide a design proposal, & we help them sell the products being produced.
Special Prize Question 2: How does your project or idea sustain its activities through the involvement of the local community?

Ease of access & barrier-free communication, lower consumption of energy or unnecessary carbon emission such as travelling & shipment etc. In the future, we are able to provide more job opportunities to local people, by focusing on domestic trade development.
Special Prize Question 3: How does your project or idea eliminate waste or pollution while regenerating natural resources?

By utilizing waste or recycled wood, we reduced the need to purchase new timber thus by this small action we hope to preserve a little piece of our forest & our environment. Besides that, it is to provide education, opportunity & option to consumers that wanted to shop & support sustainable products as an alternative, especially in our local scene in Malaysia there are not many furniture/home decors brands that are locally produced with local sustainable wood source, therefore this is one of the reasons we decided to use waste wood instead of using local wood with an unknown wood source that we have zero traceability of how it is being managed. By providing a better option for consuming better products, we hope to create a bigger market for sustainable brands to exist especially in South East Asia, as a prerequisite instead of being an alternative for consumers.
