KIDKID co.LTD. founded in 2009. started off with the goal to solve the urgent environment issue with product designing, later on becoming an sustainable agency.
By 2019, KIDKID co.LTD Created ‘ECOLIFE’ , an eco-friendly project, representing itself as a platform that aims to help reduce as many single-use plastics as possible , by using Incentive system to motivate users to join the activities.

All activities will be evaluated and shown with numbers on our website www.ecolifeapp.com. Now, the ECOLIFE’s activities are used 1,890,648 times in total with 77,161 ECOLIFE users.

The user can join ECOLIFE activities by scanning ECOLIFE QR code at the location of ECOLIFE’s partner. All the locations will be shown on the ECOMAP in the app. When the activity is done, the user will earn ECOPOINTS which can be redeemed with rewards appearing on the app.

ECOLIFE application represents an ECO Passport, recording every Environmental activities from our users. ECOLIFE app would follow the users as they’re moving up anywhere in their life, from students to first-jobbers. The app allows the users to update their personal information such as school and occupation as well.

Moreover, there are ECOLIFE’s partners in the recycling business that would take any return waste to recycle. Even some type of waste that could not be recycled will be managed accordingly, No waste will end up in landfill.

Special Prize Question 1: How does your project or idea make use of local resources, such as materials and knowledge, to tackle its challenge?

KIDKID co.LTD. is not only educating or raising awareness in environment issues, but we created a practical tool (ECOLIFE platform) , which is simple and fun for users to participate. Our process is from researching and engaging with local people in various communities, domestically. To understand people's behaviors is the key to developing our app's system, and aim mainly to attract an environment-unconscious users.
Special Prize Question 2: How does your project or idea sustain its activities through the involvement of the local community?

ECOLIFE aims to connect as many local communities as possible, inviting them to join the 'less single used plastic waste' movement as well as locating recycle waste drop-points, such as plastics, e-waste etc. Those partners would take those returned waste into their waste management process later on

Government sectors also join ECOLIFE as our partner, such as Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. ECOLIFE implements over 50 districts across Bangkok. Moreover, we have signed an MOU with the Ministry of Higher Education, partnering with all universities and schools all over Thailand in using ECOLIFE as a tool to raise awareness in environmental issues with the younger generations.
Special Prize Question 3: How does your project or idea eliminate waste or pollution while regenerating natural resources?

ECOLIFE is a tool to invite everyone to refuse a single-used plastic from the start, to reduce waste within the system and to attract the user with waste sorting and returning into the recycle system by ECOLIFE partners to prevent waste ending up in the landfill.

Another feature of this app is to snap a photo to a tree via AI system, then an ECOLIFE’s partner such as a big corporation will gather the numbers of Tree-photos and plant the real trees in many local communities accordingly.
