GLOOP is an ongoing series of seamlessly looping videos created with AI generative tools, guided by the artist’s own 3D videogame works as visual references. Shiny, candy-colored forms melt, collide, and reform in endless cycles, producing hypnotic rhythms that blur the line between play and abstraction.
Drawing on the languages of videogame iconography and viral ASMR culture, GLOOP reimagines digital pop motifs—stars, blobs, hearts, and tokens—as surreal, shifting worlds. The loops glow with a candy-coated sheen, playful and strange, pulling viewers into an atmosphere that feels familiar yet dreamlike.
For exhibition, the works are shown on screens or immersive projections, saturating the space with vibrant motion. Large-scale glossy prints extend GLOOP beyond the screen, transforming its visual language into a tactile accessory and playful reminder of digital culture’s ongoing remix.
