Metallic Textiles in the Digital Age

The project designed from the materiality of textiles of metals and aggregation of octahedrons, constructed entirely by 1.5mm aluminum sheets. This design takes the advantages of the self-weight and materiality of the metal sheets for the structure, considered of budget, time, manpower and equipment, the pavilion was 3m*4.5m*2.2m in the final and constructed by units. The form was generated through Rhino and Grasshopper algorithm, fabricated by plasma cut and shaped the curvature by stamp for the units.
