LITHUANIAN MAC

Lithuania is a small country in a southern Europe. It is famous for basketball, smooth landscape, impressive dunes and passion for craft arts. Most of all arts – people love making crosses, trees of life with national symbols. They are often made out of wood, metal or even painted. It is like a tradition of Lithuania which has quite a deep roots.
Due to this fact, I have decided to make a mac representing my country. All of symbols I used are national. Also, my designs are made with simetry. It is also a tradition to make simetrical art, it is both in craft arts and paintings.

Here you can notice traditional patterns. The biggest spiral one is a symbol of a planting season, it is infinite and having some exceptions depending on each season and weather conditions. The other big one symbol (in a third row from the top) is a distaff, presenting a hard work of lithuanian tillers and house wives weaving clothes in the past.
