Eco-flexi-home
*Eco-flexi-home consists of a new concept design which is to fabricate a doll’s house made of a recycle material which is cardboard and paper.
The house is made as the result of the addition of different customised shaped boxes which can be fixed and combined in different ways. Each box is designed as two cut out and fold paper pieces that children can put together, one is exterior and stronger which forms the external skin with windows and doors that relates with the external space, and other is interior which defines the interior furniture and devices.
There are six different types of boxes which can be identified through their external colour and are designed to develop in its interior different uses. They are the following: blue to relax & spa, pink to study & sleep, red to cook & eat, yellow to work& play and green to exercise & garden.
The game enhances the concept of flexibility because of, on the one hand the doll’s house may be bigger or smaller due to the number of blocks that children put together and, on the other the game allows the house configuration be customised by the children, developing it sense of space.
Eco-flexi-home is thought to be adapted and transformed for children of multiple ages, in order to be able to play with in different ways:
Eco-baby-blocks from 2-4 years: Baby blocks: The pieces are ready-made of colourful cardboard pieces at a small scale only with the external layer. The children play trying to put in place the pieces forming different compounds.
Eco-flexi-home from 4-8 years: The pieces are ready-made with one skin at the scale of the doll. Children should adapt the interior and exterior skins, even incorporating their CUTOUT pieces using existing templates, deciding where to place the furniture and design&cut a new one.
This home incorporates a “win and be the most sustainable player” feature which is an educational, flexible and versatile game where children will incorporate external devices to win points choosing and applying the right elements to make the house 100% self-sufficient.
Eco-Store-home for all ages: The pieces are ready-made of colourful cardboard pieces at a different scales only with the external layer where toys, jewellery or souvenirs could be organised.
Eco-flexi-home aims children to play and have fun increasing creativity in an interactive way and enhancing their awareness about recycling.
