Takeaway Flying Machine

For the opening of a new college campus I was asked to design a takeaway element for the launch event, and the Takeaway Flying Machine was an early concept for this. The final product was, instead, an invitation of a different design I helped produce. However, I think the Takeaway Flying Machine is a fun packaging or product in itself, possibly holding within the instructions for its own assembly.

It is made up of 17 parts popped out of the net of the bento box and the resulting sculpture is a bird/plane amalgam.
