DATANOISE

A visceral multimedia performance pulsing with the virtual ambient noise, DATANOISE is a reaction to our daily media-saturated realities. The artists use lighting devices and video projections, manipulate invented instruments (inspired by wind, percussion and string instruments, and manufactured with digital technology) to explore the stage space and the dramaturgical potential of the interaction between gesture, sound and real-time social media feeds. The duo delivers a physical, dense and embodied performance, punctuated sometimes by contemplative moments, sometimes by sound and visual explosions. Viewers are plunged into extreme perceptual worlds and a new sensory experience that provides keen insight into critical issues of our time.
