ORIMASK is derived from a combination of two words; Orime which means a fold or a crease in Japanese and Mask. ORIMASK is a simple foldable mask design with a durable plastic frame and a collapsible filter.
The filter is collapsible like a traditional Japanese handheld fan and comprises of 4 layers; inner faceblank, micro-particle filter, carbon filter and outer faceblank. A Velcro arrangement holds the filter to the plastic frame. This allows easy replacement of the filter and thus makes the frame reusable.
The frame is designed to follow face contours and rest on the nose like how spectacles are worn. This makes ORIMASK more comfortable to be worn.
