ScaleFrame, standing for "Masks with a Scaling Frame", tries to solve the cons of current use-and-throw surgical masks used in our daily lives, while keeping the original benefits, which made the surgical mask viable in the first place.
It gives the lightweight affordability of surgical masks while keeping an efficiency that is closer to that of a respirator due to it's shape.
The Frame can be manufactured in large quantities, and in times of emergencies such as now, can be distributed quickly. The re usability ensures that during times of crisis, the user can use crudely cut diy fabrics as a replacement to protect themselves when the filter fabric falls short.
However, the design and material would ensure that the mask remains comfortable, personal and easy to use.
