Purple sweet potato pie

This purple sweet potato pie is made with Ishigaki-grown Okiyumemurasaki sweet potatoes, which boast a bright purple color and have such a high sugar content that they are also called the chocolate of the fields.
When heated up in the toaster grill, they smell like they have been freshly baked and go all crispy. These are extremely popular among tourists, and orders from outside the prefecture are received constantly.
