Biography
I am Nirmal Thomas, a mechanical engineer turned designer and artist from Kochi, based in London.
I visualise Art, Design and Engineering as threads that can create wonders when sewn together.
My practice involves a large number of observations, conversations, teamwork and brainstorming to come up with innovative and useful ideas to cater to people’s needs.
My passion is to use the knowledge and experience I gained throughout my journey to emerge as a Designer who caters to different needs, an Engineer who makes the world a much better place to live in and an Artist who brings colours to people's lives.
The solutions to the problems of this world lie in the minds of imaginative people and their collective effort. I seek to bring people together to Rethink Strategies, Redirect Perspectives, Rebuild Systems and Redefine Innovation. And this ultimately is my goal!
