Biography
Alara is a creative designer-engineer, focused on circularity in design with a multidisciplinary approach. With a background in BEng Design Innovation and Creative Engineering and MA Material Futures, Alara combines technical expertise in materials and processes with a unique problem-solving mindset. She seeks unconventional approaches to finding solutions, striving to challenge the norm and effect meaningful change. Her current work focuses on harnessing the potential of waste materials to generate new opportunities, while aiming to reshape societal attitudes towards recycling and circularity.
