建築家。サーキュラー建築の研究者。
天然資源であるコルクを外断熱を兼ねた外装とした「出窓の塔居」、廃棄物を出さずに容易に分解・移築・再構成可能で住まい手の修理する権利を重視した「巡る間」、建設地の緯度経度から形を導き、その地の食品廃棄物建材を世界で初めて構造体として用いた「World-Food Waste Tea Housesベネチ庵・アラビ庵」など、資源循環に重きをおき、地球環境を意識した設計を行なっている。
日本建築設計学会賞大賞、日本建築学会作品選集新人賞、グッドデザイン賞ベスト100、米国Record Housesなど、国内外で受賞多数。

Architect. Researcher of circular architecture.
Focusing on resource circulation and environmentally conscious design, projects include: "Bay Window Tower House" which uses carbonized cork, a natural resource, as exterior insulation and cladding; "Circularity Caibin" which can be easily disassembled, relocated, and reconfigured without producing waste, emphasizing the occupants' right to repair; and "World-Food Waste Tea Houses: Veniti-An and Arabi-An" which derives its form from the latitude of the construction site and is the world's first to use local food waste materials as a structural components.
Received many awards both domestically and internationally, including the Grand Prize from the Architectural Design Association of Japan, Young Architect Award from the Architectural Institute of Japan's Selected Architectural Designs, Good Design Award Best 100, and Record Houses of Architectural Record.
