Claudio Cassano has created a personal visual language in a balance between the traditions of Renaissance art and contemporary Neo Pop influences, developed over the past ten years through the channels of art, media and communications products.
Born in Naples in the 70\'s and raised in Turin and Paris, always in movement between the international capitals, has produced an enormous universe of images in forms of paintings, photography and illustrations, working with major fashion magazines, brands, exhibitions of each level, up to have an impressive list of collaborations and clients worldwide.
Graduated in Art History, Cassano has a facility to combine a great Academic technique with a childlike spontaneity in the sign, in the use of colors and in the representation of the subjects of his vast imagination.
Strong neoclassical influences, compositional rules and theories of light goes together with a gesture of painting without limits, and to dream characters that live in his personal limbo.
From the beginning as assistant to Mario Testino, exposures for Levi\'s and Colette, to the collaboration with Vogue Paris, becoming the youngest photographer to be published on its prestigious pages, the first years of work already gave evidence of a brilliant creative precocity.
In 2001, Dutch magazine wrote: \"Claudio Cassano resemble a highly productive art machine, always in search of characters and environments that he absorbs and spits out in the form of drawings, paintings and photographs.\"
Following the idea that \"an international magazine distributed all over the world have more visibility than any art catalogs\" Cassano has, from the beginning, opted for a instant globalization of his works, using the printed paper of magazines, collaborations with brands and the various media of communication, as if its was his wall of exhibition spaces.
Moving quickly and working in New York, Tokyo and desolate beaches in Brazil, has influenced and developed his work with all possible media, creating with his personal language, images and visuals for brands such as Nike, Diesel, Fiat, Yamaha, Sport Max, Borbonese, Casio, etc. .. and published his work in magazines such as Vogue Paris, Nylon, Dazed and Confused, Ryuko Tsushin, Baby, Ponytail, Bon ..whom for years have devoted many pages to the unique art of Claudio Cassano.
