Hello! My name is Yuta Ikeya.
I am a freelance illustrator based in Kawasaki, Japan.
I have experienced media such as
Graphics for T-shirts, Cover art for music album, Leaflet design (illustration and layout), etc.
My drawing is basically inspired by Japanese culture and street hip-hop culture.
I used to draw digital illustrations with vivid colors before, however after my studying abroad in Stockholm, Sweden from 2014 to 2016, my favorite style of illustration has turned to rather simple analogue line-drawing with less colors, which I learned through surrounded by Scandinavian design.
I am always eager to challenge a variety of styles/fields and to try something new to evolve my potential.
Also, I am interested in street dance and film photography as well.
My major in my university is mechanical engineering, fluid dynamics.
