I am a UK based visual artist, born in Singapore and raised in the UK. My practice involves animation, sculpture, painting, sound, cooking and horticulture, to create multimedia installations concerning evolving theories of reality and simulation, future technologies, human and non human perspectives. Compelling her most recent work are developing ideas around transhumanism; future domestic rituals, spaces and relationships as human and mechanical beings evolve closer together.
I am currently based in Newcastle and a member of the Newbridge collective Studio 2019/2020. I recently completed the 2018 Woon Prize residency hosted by Northumbria University and BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, which I undertook after graduating with a Ba in Fine Art Sculpture from Slade School of Art, University College London last year.
