Flame phenomenon

This work is the first sculpture of my series of images of classical
material poems. It refers to the work of Gaston Bachelard, "Psychoanalysis
of Fire", according to whom fire is one of the universal principles to explain
the world, because indelible memories, the simplest and decisive
experience of each person, are associated with fire and heat. Fire is
something deeply personal and universal; fire lives in very different spaces,
both in the deep bowels of the earth, and in heaven; fire lives in the human
heart and soul.
Fire more than any other "originals" can take opposite meanings - life-giving
heat and destroyer of matter, the radiance of heaven and the hell of the
underworld, the hearth and the apocalypse.
As a consequence of a naive understanding of the phenomenon of fire by
the human unconscious, fire is perceived as a kind of personality, by which
it becomes a character: whether a hero or an antihero, it's up to the viewer
to decide.
The sculpture consists of two parts: a standing flame and
a wreath suspended above it. Materials: sheet aluminum 4mm thick, screws,
paints.
