According to the Civic Exchange study, it was found that urban Hongkongers enjoy less than half as much open space as residents of other Asian metropolises, such as Tokyo, Shanghai and Singapore. Currently there're only some web maps being processed from data of the Lands Department, it shows the location of public open space in HK. However, it is not very simple and easy to use. TheLawnHK is an app helping citizens/tourists to find public open spaces in Hong Kong. The personalised features enable users to write reviews about the spaces and add their favourite spaces to the list for easier reference.
