Detailed explanation of the submitted project or idea (in English or both English and your language)
Cobralight Pendolo´s patented design is based on a stainless steel spring steel element with a flexible LED that is detachably clipped on by small plastic elements. These elements also work as guides for the strings that support the lamp from the ceiling. The height can be easily adjusted. Cobralight Pendolo can be installed emitting light upwards (indirect), downwards (direct) or two lamps can be connected back to back for bidirectional light. Due to the flexible steel element the entire 1,6m lamp fits in a small tin. The lamp is equipped with a dimmable power supply.

How does your work address the 3 P’s (for Planet, for People, for Profit) for Sustainability?
Cobralight Pendolo was intended to be the most sustainable lamp possible. The modular snap-on design allows to ship the lamp in a small tin, thus keeping packaging small. It also allows to replace parts of the lamp making it self repairable. The weight of the lamp is merely to 73 gr and the volume of the lamps body less than the volume of a smart phone. A version in biodegradable material instead of PETG or laser-cut wood is available. Due to the spring steel element the lamp cannot bend or break. All parts are 3D printed. Sustainability is achieved by significant reduction of materials, long product life and recyclability. And the shipment container can be used for cookies.

Cobralight Pendolo
The intention for the design of Cobralight Pendolo was to reduce the material required for a pendant lamp to a minimum, while allowing for the lamp to be efficient, repairable, durable, modular, adaptable and compact to transport/ship.
