GGJ Buenos Aires, FADU - Ministry of Agriculture

Our Jam was carried out on September 20th between the School of Architecture, Design and Urbanism, University of Buenos Aires and the Ministry of Agriculture.
We incorporate new dynamics in the JAM. We worked with two organizations with different problems that respond to the SDGs: “Brotes” is an organization that recycles plastics (collected by the Garraham hospital) and reuses them in different objects, also promotes projects linked to the generation of industrial compost in different neighborhoods. Also participated the organization "Hecho por nosotros" an organization that reclaim the local technologies of different regional economies, and in this case they worked with the wool of sheep.
From the presentation of these two organizations with their respective problems, the exercise was fenced and in three groups they developed the different sprints.
The triggers of those who left were:
1. Lack of valuation of handmade and recycled products
2. Craft as luxury and not as something of wider consumption
3. Natural fibers are not incorporated in the industry compared to synthetic fibers.
From these triggers the jam was developed. The participants came to schematic proposals, but one of the groups continues with the theme addressed in a research internship in FADU. In this internship the members of the group are using all the knowledge generated in the JAM to respond to one of the triggers in conjunction with the organization that accompanies and builds together.
We found it interesting to incorporate two important items into the dynamics of the JAM:
1. The link with the real actor of the territory, to make the exercise more tangible.
2. The use and continuity of the knowledge generated in order to give a real response that impact in the community.
