fabを活用し、阿波人形浄瑠璃の次世代への継承を促す個人的なプロジェクト
阿波人形浄瑠璃の保存継承、でこ細工師の後継者問題解決に向けたシステムや寄付サイクルも構築。
「3Dプリントやfabという新しいデジタルツールを、伝統文化を損なうためではなく共存共栄するために活用する」という意図を理解していただくため、対話には十分な時間を費やし、職人や組織団体との間に信頼関係を構築した。
What is the purpose of 3D DEKO PROJECT?
A personal project that uses fab to promote the succession of Awa Ningyo Joruri to the next generation.
I established a support system and donation cycle for the preservation and succession of Awa Ningyo Joruri and Deko artisans.
I am a 3D modeler having no traditional background, but I spent two years making the Awa Deko puppets while communicating with the contemporary master craftsman, Yoichiro Amari.
We spent plenty of time communicating in order to build a relationship of mutual trust with the craftsmen and organizations, and to help them understand our intent to "leverage new digital tools like 3D printing and fab to co-exist with, not undervalue, the traditional culture". Production through direct communication with the craftsmen was an essential part of this project.
