SNAPK

This project is a part of the FabCafe Bangkok Workshop.
We randomly picked one thing from a market then hacked it, I chose a snake toy.

|

Inspiration:
Kids love their toys, and they love to help their mom and dad too.
How about we help the kids to make their toys more functional, also it can help their parents.

|

Problem and solution:
Traditional toys are limited in usage. Oftentimes adults think toys are for kids, and they are not useful to them.
So I experimented and tested a possibility to make the snake toy more useful so that it can be enjoyed by both kids and parents.
I’ve taken the time to get the right design, to make the toy very easy to use with all types of people, and I came up with the Snapk that was made by 3D printing.
I made it simple enough that kids can play with it and hack it in their own way.

|

Functional:
Snapk is designed around the workflows of everyday usage, and it does things other snake toys can’t.
It is hackable, so you can hack it in your own way.
Some of my favorite features the toy can do with Snapk include:
- Clean your table with a bath towel.
- Clean your dishes with a wiper towel.
- Scrub your body with a nylon bath towel.
- Kid friendly. Of course, it is still a toy.

|

How does it work?
All you have to do is choose a fabric material or anything you can imagine, then snap it on the toy with Snapk and you’re set to go.

|

Can I use Snapk anywhere?
When you’re not using the toy, you can conveniently carry it with you by tying it to your bag with Snapk.
Have fun and take it anywhere!
