1. Application outline

1.1. Submission period

12:00 am (JST) on July 19, 2023 - 12:00 am (JST) on October 2, 2023.

1.2. Entrants

Anyone can apply regardless of nationality, age, or gender. Entry is open to the public and can include individuals, groups, municipalities, startups and/or established companies. Working professionals as well as students are welcome to apply.

1.3. Cost of entry

Free.

1.4. How to enter

There are two ways to apply to this open call:

Please prepare your submission materials and submit your application through one of these two methods.

3. Fill out the entry form and submit the application.
   Application for this project has been closed.

※ If you were born on or after January 1, 1996, please select "I am eligible for the Next Generation Award" in the relevant field on the website’s entry page.

Applications via Instagram

1. Follow the official Instagram account @awrd_com
   
2. Post your submission on your public Instagram account.
   a. Submit your work, including the images of your project or idea （up to 4 images）.
   b. Tag your post with the hashtag #cdcn_2023 and mention @awrd_com.
   c. If you were born on or after January 1, 1996, please include "#cdcn_next" on your post.
   
   Note: Deleting your Instagram account or unfollowing the @award_com Instagram account will result in disqualification.

Warning about unsaved entry forms

For security reasons, if you leave the entry form open for more than 2 hours, you will be automatically logged out and your entry will not be saved, even if you are still in the middle of filling out the form.

We recommend that you please save the form in a backup document.

1.5. Entry language

Since the judging will be conducted in Japanese/English, please submit your entry in English or both in English and your language. If you submit your entry only in a language other than English, the Organizers will use a free translation tool to translate your entry into English and use the translation for judgement purposes. For English translations, we recommend using an online translator service or having the content translated.
