Bring your ideas into the virtual world!
At the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, the Panasonic Group Pavilion will launch its virtual world "The Land of NOMO".
With the "Let’s bring everyone’s ideas into the virtual world!" program, we are inviting designs for butterflies that will serve as symbolic icons in the virtual world to express your secret ideas and feelings. Take this opportunity to bring your ideas to life on the Expo stage!
What kind of place is “The Land of NOMO” virtual world?
“The Land of NOMO” virtual world is created entirely from everyone's thoughts and feelings. You will experience the chaotic and free-spirited world made for anyone to enjoy. Not just for children, adults who stop by can also engage and reflect on their feelings through the stories presented. Let’s explore the possibilities of the future!

Call for Entries Details
〈 Three Topics 〉
For this challenge, we have prepared three topics: the past, present, and future. Choose any topic you like and give it a try. You can choose more than one topic if you want!
A. Past: What is the most unforgettable memory you have had so far?
B. Present: What are you passionate about right now?
C. Future: What do you want to become in the future?
〈 Motifs 〉
Feelings will be expressed as patterns on the wings of butterflies in the virtual world. Different butterfly shapes are available for each topic, so you might want to choose the topic based on the shape you like! Click on the button for the topic you want to apply for and download the application sheet.
Eligibility
Anyone who has the desire to express themselves is welcome to participate.
The target age is elementary to middle school students, but preschoolers and high school students are also welcome.
If you have any of the following thoughts, please give it a try!
- You have feelings that you don't usually express, keeping them hidden in your heart.
- You enjoy drawing and want to share your illustrations with people all around the world!
- You want to participate in the Expo not just as a viewer, but as a creator!
Entry Benefits
This award is not about selecting a first-place winner, so no prizes or judges will be involved. Instead, all illustrations submitted will be featured in "The Land of NOMO" virtual world hosted by Panasonic Holdings!
However, illustrations that may hurt or upset others will not be included, so please make sure to read the "For All Applicants" page carefully beforehand.

- Register with AWRD
Registration on AWRD is required to apply. Consult with your guardian and proceed with the registration.

You can download the application sheet from the "Download Application Sheet" button at the top of this page. Print it out or import it into a drawing app on a device like an iPad. Before creating your work, be sure to read the "For All Applicants" page on this site, and then fill out the application sheet. - Upload your work！
Once your work is complete, enter the required information into the application form and upload an image file (note that PDF files cannot be uploaded).
Schedule
The following is the schedule from the start of the application process to the publication of your work in the “Nomo no Kuni” virtual world. In the case of a large number of submissions, the exhibition period may be divided into several periods. We will contact you by e-mail when there is a change in the number of works to be released. Please log in and look for your work.
